Japanese Culture Festival
The Japanese National Honor Society is sponsoring our 4th annual Japanese Culture Festival. The festival will be held on Thursday, March 15th, from 3 until 6 p.m. in the Eaglecrest cafeteria. We will have Japanese food such as sushi rolls, okonomiyaki (a cabbage pancake), yakisoba (fried noodles), and a chocolate dessert fountain. Events will include karaoke, traditional arts such as origami and calligraphy, and carnival games. You can enjoy a variety of booths where you can try to catch a goldfish, decorate your own chopsticks, have your portrait taken in a Japanese kimono, have your face painted, and even try your hand at our pie in the face booth! All ages are welcome! Proceeds from the festival will benefit Project Cure. This nonprofit organization provides medical supplies to global communities in need. Please join us for great food and games, and support a wonderful cause.
