Parent/Teacher conferences are an essential building block for home and school communication, and we welcome you to attend this important event. These conferences present an opportunity for you to establish a communication link and play a role in your student's achievement. We encourage students and parents to attend this event together to discuss with teachers student strengths and areas for improvement and goals. Some suggested topics to discuss with your son/daughter's teachers include:
- Class goals
- Student's academic progress toward goals
- Long-range projects and due dates
- Student's attitude toward class and school
- Methods for maintaining open communication between parent and teacher
Please limit your discussion with each teacher to five minutes to allow all parents a chance to speak with teachers. If additional time is needed, individual conferences may be scheduled with teachers.
You may print off copies of your child's schedule to bring with you by logging into the Parent portal of PowerSchool. You can also access your student's schedule on your smartphone using the Eaglecrest app.
When you arrive
We encourage students and parents to attend this event together to discuss with teachers student strengths, areas for growth and learning goals.
PowerSchool schedules and progress/attendance reports will be available for parents. Maps detailing the location of each teacher and department will be available for you to conveniently locate teachers. Counselors, deans, and administrators will be available this evening as well.
