Eaglecrest High School, one of the district’s comprehensive, college-preparatory high schools, opened in 1990 and
graduated its first class in 1993. Since then, it has built a strong reputation for rigorous academics, extensive
extracurricular opportunities, and a vibrant, inclusive student community.

Eaglecrest offers one of the broadest and most accomplished activity programs in Colorado. Students participate in
28 varsity sports, 4 Unified teams, and have captured 24 state championships and 1 national title. The arts thrive with 4
choirs, 7 bands, 3 orchestras, and multiple theater productions each year, alongside more than 60 student-run clubs,
competitive Mock Trial, Model UN, and Robotics teams. Eaglecrest is home to 3 leadership programs serving more than
100 students, as well as one of the largest peer tutoring programs in the state, with over 200 tutors annually. Our library
was named National School Library Program of the Year, and the school has been recognized by CHSAA as the Most
Spirited School in Colorado. These accomplishments reflect Eaglecrest’s vibrant community where students excel
academically, athletically, artistically, and as leaders.
